Cooper Software Appoints David Kidd as Managing Director.

Move strengthens senior leadership as founder and CEO Frank Cooper takes on an expanded Group CEO role, supporting Cooper Software's continued growth in consultancy, managed support, and products.

UK, 29 September 2026 - Cooper Software, an IFS Specialised Channel Partner and Premier ISV Partner, today announced the appointment of David Kidd as Managing Director. The appointment is part of a wider evolution of the business, which now operates as part of a group encompassing Cooper Software's IFS practice alongside the group’s second business ProScope, led by Dean Gardner and Marc Cooper. Founder Frank Cooper moves into an expanded Group CEO role, overseeing the group, with David taking on day-to-day leadership of Cooper Software and responsibility for executing its strategy across its three core areas: consultancy, managed support and products.

The appointment reflects the growing scale and ambition of the business. Cooper Software has added to its team across functional consultancy, technical development, and managed support in the last six months alone and continues to expand internationally, with recent hires in Spain and Sri Lanka and plans to grow further in Australia and North America. Around 40 percent of the company's revenue now comes from customers outside the UK, a trend Cooper Software expects to continue.

David has led Cooper Software's operations for the past four years, overseeing all consultancy projects, the managed service desk and products. Over that time the product portfolio has grown from three to nine complementary solutions for IFS customers: ACQUIRE, ASSURE, PRISM, PULSE, STICKIES, LOOKUP, TRAX, MTD and the AskCooperSoftware.ai platform. This side of the business has seen significant traction in recent years and will be a central part of Cooper Software's strategy going forward.
