Cooper Software Launches TRAX v3, Bringing Automated Document Capture to IFS Users.

  • Latest version of Cooper Software's integration platform is designed to remove one of the most time-consuming manual tasks in accounts payable, and can be purchased and live the same day
  • Previewed at IFS Unleashed 2026,12-16 October in Orlando, Florida.

UK, 6 October 2026 - Cooper Software, an IFS Specialised Channel Partner and Premier ISV partner, today announced TRAX v3, the latest version of its integration platform for IFS, introducing new automated document capture functionality. The enhancement allows businesses running IFS to automatically capture, read and process incoming invoices and other supplier documents, removing a task that many accounts teams still handle largely by hand.

TRAX has been helping IFS customers connect their business systems since 2012, giving IT teams a straightforward way to integrate IFS with other software such as CRM platforms and e-commerce marketplaces. The new document capture capability extends that same self-service approach to accounts payable, reading invoices, cash remittances, order confirmation notes and delivery notes as they arrive by email, FTP or a shared inbox, and turning them into accurate records in IFS.

Businesses can configure the level of matching to suit their own processes, from straightforward capture with no matching required through to full three-way matching an invoice against the purchase order and delivery note. Where a document cannot be automatically matched, it is flagged for quick review rather than failing, so exceptions are handled by the accounts team rather than holding up the wider process.

"Right now, a lot of businesses are still receiving supplier invoices into an inbox and manually keying them into IFS, one line at a time," said David Kidd, Managing Director at Cooper Software. "This new functionality changes that. Every invoice that lands in the inbox is matched against suppliers automatically and created as a proper record in IFS, so accounts teams can spend their time on the exceptions that genuinely need a human eye rather than the routine ones that don't."

The new capability was inspired by Cooper Software customers, whose accounts teams are otherwise processing hundreds of supplier invoices a month by hand.

Cooper Software's ambition for TRAX is to make integration something an IT manager can act on the same day a problem appears, rather than the long procurement and sales cycles more typical of enterprise software. TRAX v3 is designed to be bought and made live on the same day, giving businesses a way to solve an integration or accounts payable problem almost as soon as they identify it, without a lengthy sales process. The document capture functionality follows the same principle, giving accounts teams a quick, self-service way to solve a familiar and time-consuming problem.

Large scale e-invoicing platforms exist that work across dozens of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including SAP, but they are typically built for large scale deployments with the cost and complexity to match. TRAX takes a different approach, built specifically for IFS and designed so that businesses of any size can get up and running quickly, without a lengthy implementation project.

The announcement comes ahead of IFS Unleashed 2026, IFS's flagship global conference, taking place from 12 to 16 October in Orlando, Florida. Cooper Software will be showcasing the new TRAX functionality at the event, alongside its wider portfolio of products for IFS customers.
