David brings over 20 years of experience gained within the ERP industry and has a successful track record in developing and implementing new business strategies for long term growth across UK, European and global markets.
Cooper Software is pleased to announce that Jonathan Dunn has recently joined the business as Chief Growth & Strategy Officer. The role will see Jonathan spearhead initiatives designed to drive Cooper Software’s growth and operational efficiencies to realise the company’s growth ambitions.
Jonathan brings extensive experience to the team, gained from a successful career within the technology, software and business strategy industry. Most recently, Jonathan was a Director at Arum, Europe’s leading independent consultancy specialising in credit management systems, technology, and strategy.
What is supply chain visibility?
Supply chain visibility can be defined as the availability of parts, components, or products in transit to be tracked from the manufacturer to their final destination. Manufacturing and distribution companies face challenges throughout every area of their supply chain. Across all stages, visibility is recognised as a key objective. Achieving supply chain visibility means having real time data for all the different processes involved readily available to all parties.
Fuel cell engineering business, Intelligent Energy, originally implemented IFS Applications 8 in 2015. In October 2017, the company was acquired by Meditor Energy, part of the Meditor Group. The acquisition heralded the start of a new chapter for the business and also presented the perfect opportunity to begin the process of reviewing their IFS solution to ensure the company was operating in the most efficient way, with the most up-to-date business system that would fully meet its needs.
We are currently embarking on many exciting and challenging projects for our IFS customers across a wide range of industries, however, there is one particular customer with whom we are developing something truly revolutionary. We are delighted to be working with family-owned single malt whisky specialist Gordon & MacPhail to implement a new IFS business system as part of a significant investment in their future growth.

Now in its 21st year, the four-day virtual festival will return to Speyside, the most famous of Scotland’s whisky regions, from 29th April to 2nd May. Set to be one of the world’s biggest online celebrations of whisky, the festival is enjoyed by whisky novices, budding master blenders and everyone in between.
